Accountabilities
- Own the design, architecture, development, and delivery of full-stack features from initial planning through production release with minimal supervision.
- Develop scalable and production-ready applications using React and TypeScript for frontend solutions and Java with Spring Boot for backend services.
- Translate complex business requirements and ambiguous challenges into clear, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Estimate project timelines, manage priorities, evaluate technical trade-offs, and support agile delivery processes.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering stakeholders to define scope, identify blockers, and ensure successful execution.
- Contribute to technical decisions, architecture improvements, code quality initiatives, and engineering best practices.
- Support continuous optimization of application performance, scalability, accessibility, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing practices, and improvements to development workflows.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute technical guidance when needed.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer, with significant experience in frontend development.
- Advanced hands-on experience with React and TypeScript or modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable web applications in production environments.
- Ability to independently manage technical initiatives, make architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Experience working in Agile teams and remote, distributed environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English proficiency for daily communication, documentation, and technical discussions.
- Experience with technical leadership, acting as a Tech Lead, or owning major engineering initiatives is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SEO-focused platforms, high-traffic consumer applications, and web performance optimization is a plus.
- Experience mentoring engineers, implementing accessibility best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with collaboration between engineering, product, UX, and marketing teams is beneficial.
