As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. ORMaster's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. ORPhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.System Engineer We are looking for a Staff System Modelling Engineer to lead our work on developing high-level models of for Mix Signal IPs for simulation, verification and Emulation purposes. You will be responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining C/C++/SystemC models of hardware and software components, as well as integrating them into larger system models. You will also collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and quality of the models and their alignment with the specifications and requirements. You will also mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to the improvement of the modelling and simulation processes and tools. What you’ll be doing: Create virtual models of our connectivity IPs using SystemC/C++ and C libraries Test and debug the models using SystemC simulation tools and frameworks Integrate models into emulation and verification environments to enable early software development as well perform functional simulations. Work on Industry Emulation platforms such as Zebu, Palladium, Veloce Integrate the models into virtual platforms and verify their functionality and performance Maintain and update the models according to the changes in the design and requirements Document the models and their interfaces and provide support for their usage and integration Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the consistency and quality of the models and their alignment with the specifications and requirements Contribute to the improvement of the modelling and simulation processes and tools and propose new solutions and best practices What we need to see: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field 8-12  years of experience in SystemC/C++/C modelling and simulation SystemC simulation tools and frameworks, such as  TLM2.0, and SCV etc Knowledge of hardware and software design and verification methodologies and standards Experience in modelling and simulating complex systems, such as embedded systems, SoCs, or ASICs Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong leadership and mentoring skills Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
