This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on technical challenges, customer interaction, and working with advanced automation technologies in a variety of industrial environments.This role will focus heavily on DeltaV Distributed Control Systems, including system configuration, commissioning, startup support, troubleshooting, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting industrial customers and will serve as a trusted technical resource, helping solve complex automation challenges while building strong long-term customer relationships.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, working directly with customers, and applying their technical expertise across industries such as chemical processing, refining, ethanol, food and beverage, pulp and paper, and other manufacturing environments.Key Responsibilities:Configure, commission, and troubleshoot DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS).Support customer startups, system modifications, upgrades, and optimization projects.Diagnose and resolve issues related to DCS systems, instrumentation, PLC interfaces, industrial networks, and control system infrastructure.Perform system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, cybersecurity updates, and technical improvements.Support PLC integration, Ethernet/IP networks, and industrial communication systems.Perform loop tuning and control system optimization.Configure and support Microsoft Windows-based industrial systems and virtual environments.Provide technical recommendations and develop solutions to meet customer needs.Train customer operators and maintenance teams on system functionality.Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation.Support digital transformation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve customer operations.Travel Requirements:This is a true Field Service Engineering role requiring approximately 65% travel to customer sites throughout the region.Travel is typically structured as:Local customer visits throughout the month with the ability to be home most nights.Approximately one week per month requiring overnight travel.Occasional extended customer project support.Candidates must be comfortable working independently at customer...
