Accountabilities
- Research, design, and develop perception algorithms for autonomous driving systems
- Prototype and deploy solutions for object detection, localization, mapping, and multi-object tracking
- Build and optimize multimodal sensor fusion and calibration systems using cameras, LiDAR, radar, GNSS, and IMUs
- Develop simulation frameworks and analyze gaps between simulated and real-world performance
- Contribute to algorithm design discussions and provide technical leadership within the perception team
- Invent and improve models, tools, and methods for complex autonomous vehicle perception challenges
- Analyze research data and contribute novel ideas to advance system performance
- Stay current with advancements in computer vision and pattern recognition and share insights with the team
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Vision, or related field
- 4+ years of non-academic, industry experience in perception or autonomous systems
- Strong background in computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine perception algorithms
- Experience with object detection, localization, mapping, and multi-object tracking
- Familiarity with multimodal sensors including cameras, LiDAR, radar, GNSS, and IMUs
- Experience developing simulation systems and analyzing real-world performance gaps
- Strong programming skills and experience building production-grade ML/AI systems
- Ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate in a research-driven environment
- Strong analytical thinking and up-to-date knowledge of modern computer vision research
