Accountabilities:

    As a Manager, Clinical Trial Management, you will oversee the performance and professional development of Clinical Trial Managers while supporting high-quality execution of clinical research programs. You will provide strategic guidance, operational oversight, and mentorship to ensure teams consistently deliver against project objectives and regulatory expectations.

    • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop Clinical Trial Managers, Senior Clinical Trial Managers, and Principal Clinical Trial Managers to strengthen capabilities and career growth.
    • Provide ongoing performance feedback, identify development opportunities, and support team members in achieving professional goals.
    • Partner with clinical operations leadership and cross-functional teams to improve processes, procedures, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
    • Support resource planning and allocation activities to ensure clinical teams have the appropriate support and capacity.
    • Develop action plans and provide strategic oversight to optimize clinical trial management services and achieve departmental goals.
    • Provide technical guidance on trial scope, risk identification, mitigation strategies, resource planning, deliverables, and project execution.
    • Ensure clinical trial teams operate according to SOPs, ICH GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and established quality standards.
    • Monitor compliance with documentation requirements, operational systems, reporting expectations, and administrative processes.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process enhancements, team development programs, and operational best practices.
    • Encourage accountability, collaboration, and a high-performance culture aligned with organizational values.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced clinical research leader with a strong background in clinical operations, team management, and global trial execution. You should have the ability to coach professionals, manage competing priorities, and drive quality outcomes in a regulated research environment.

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a scientific, healthcare, or related field.
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research, including clinical operations experience within a pharmaceutical company, CRO, or similar environment.
      • Strong understanding of ICH GCP guidelines and the clinical development lifecycle.
      • Experience managing, mentoring, and developing clinical trial management professionals.
      • Demonstrated experience supporting complex clinical trials, preferably global studies.
      • Ability to identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and manage change effectively.
      • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
      • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders.
      • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
      • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
      • Preferred qualifications include:

        • 1–2 years of experience working in a Senior Clinical Trial Manager or Principal Clinical Trial Manager role.
        • Experience leading clinical aspects of complex, global research programs.
        • Proven success working in a global, cross-functional clinical management environment.
