Accountabilities:
- Manage structural engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery within budget, schedule, and contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), forecast billing, and proactively address financial risks to maximize project profitability.
- Coordinate project schedules by facilitating project kickoffs, planning sessions, progress reviews, and regular team check-ins.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients by managing communications, attending meetings, providing project updates, and ensuring exceptional client service throughout project execution.
- Monitor project scope, identify out-of-scope work, lead change management discussions, and negotiate scope, budget, and schedule adjustments when necessary.
- Coordinate internal and external project resources, including outsourced partners, to ensure appropriate staffing and successful project execution.
- Collaborate with technical teams and leadership to resolve project challenges, remove roadblocks, and maintain efficient workflows.
- Prepare accurate project reports, communicate progress to stakeholders, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and established processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering within a fast-paced project environment.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated success coordinating multidisciplinary or virtual project teams.
- Strong knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, scope management, and client relationship management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build productive relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present project updates clearly and professionally.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10–15% as required.
