The Specialist, Technical Sales is responsible for generating new business and ensuring the growth of existing accounts within an assigned territory. This position assesses customer needs, provides technical solutions, and resolves client issues while fostering strong customer relationships to enhance sales opportunities. The role also involves delivering technical training and communicating customer feedback to support continuous product and service improvements.Sales & Business Development
Attend customer meetings and conduct sales presentations to showcase products and services.
Generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth within the assigned territory.
Follow up consistently on sales opportunities and customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction and successful outcomes.
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at various organizational levels.
Technical Sales Support
Provide technical expertise to support sales objectives and address customer inquiries.
Prepare and deliver moderately complex technical proposals and presentations.
Advise customers and sales teams on technical product features and solutions that align with business goals.
Identify and analyze customer requirements to develop competitive and effective solutions.
Customer Training & Relationship Management
Conduct training sessions to enhance customer understanding and effective use of products and services.
Resolve customer issues by providing appropriate technical guidance and support.
Foster long-term customer relationships to strengthen engagement and retention.
Product & Service Improvement
Gather and communicate customer feedback to relevant internal teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for product enhancement.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
Experience
2–4 years of relevant experience in Technical Sales, Sales Engineering, Business Development, or a related field preferred.
