As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. You will report to a Supervisor and perform weekly cycle counts, make system adjustments, and maintain accurate records to help facilitate shortage detection. You will work schedule is pending to be confirmed and will be paid weekly at $22.50 per hour. This job is located in West Jefferson, OH.

How you create impact

  • Maintain inventory records and inventory management procedures.
  • Reconciliate inventory and coordinate inventory procedures
  • Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving management of inventory.
  • Implementing recovery program to ensure all defective product is accounted for and handled properly.
  • Help oversee the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reports.
  • Conduct system searches to locate products.
  • Develop a program to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location.
  • Process proper documentation to create a prompt credit transaction,
  • Develop all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts.

What we would like you to bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year or more of experience in cycle counting and inventory control.
  • PC literate with experience in Microsoft Suites
  • WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) experience.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment.
