Join our Compensation team as a Senior Associate! 

As a Senior Associate on the Compensation team, you will support the day-to-day execution of US Variable Compensation Incentive Processing, including non-annual and annual cash incentive activity. You will partner closely across HR and control functions to ensure accurate, timely, and well-controlled processing, while helping drive process simplification and a longer-term shift toward automation through improved SOPs and standardized workflows.

Job responsibilities: 

  • Own day-to-day Variable Compensation processing across business-aligned incentives, including non-annual and annual cash incentive activity—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong operational execution.
  • Partner with coordination of the annual incentive compensation (IC) cycle, including creating and communicating tasks, milestones, and due dates; tracking progress; and driving completion with key partners.
  • Create and maintain plan codes used for variable compensation processing, ensuring setup aligns to incentive plan specifications and internal standards.
  • Develop, update, and maintain SOPs for Variable Compensation, keeping documentation current, audit-ready, and easy for teams to execute consistently.
  • Partner with internal teams to manage handoffs and dependencies, ensuring work transitions are clear, complete, and executed accurately end-to-end.
  • Serve as a process and systems SME for variable compensation flows through the HCM Integration Platform and HCM systems; clearly explain processes, impacts, and requirements to stakeholders.
  • Support cash incentive audits by working directly with auditors, preparing support, responding to requests, and ensuring timely, complete audit responses.
  • Maintain strong controls in partnership with internal functions, focusing on payroll accuracy, data integrity, and operational risk management.
  • Identify process and reporting issues and lead remediation efforts, including root-cause analysis and implementation of sustainable fixes.
  • Advance automation and simplification, by identifying manual touchpoints, proposing improvements to workflows/controls/reporting, and helping move the function toward more automated, scalable execution.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5 years of experience in a reporting, analytical, or operational processing role
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (advanced formulas, formatting, pivot tables/reporting)
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Objects
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause investigation skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort working across systems and process flows
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a time-sensitive environment, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple concurrent deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner across teams
  • Detail-oriented with sound judgment and a strong focus on accuracy and controls
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a demonstrated interest in process simplification and automation
