Traditionally, investors, advisors, banks, families, and managers track hundreds of investments in complicated spreadsheets, file folders, and busy inboxes. Not only is this tedious and time-consuming, but it is rife with opportunity for manual data entry errors, inconsistent reporting, and lost information. Enter, Arch.Arch delivers standardized data, documents, and insights in a single platform, avoiding the need to chase information across dozens or hundreds of ‘portals’. Our purpose is to save investors’ time while empowering them to make more informed investment decisions, leading to better financial outcomes. We are a fast-growing, dynamic team of 200+, serving over 400 clients, including several of America’s largest banks, families, and financial institutions. We’ve over doubled the size of the company every year since inception and we are looking to hire in all departments as we scale.The RoleArch is seeking a founding Head of Finance to lead and scale our finance function during a period of rapid growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the company's financial strategy, planning, reporting, and operational rigor, while serving as a key thought partner to the leadership team.This is a highly impactful role that sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution. You will build the financial infrastructure that enables Arch to scale efficiently, provide visibility into company performance, support fundraising and board reporting, and help drive critical business decisions across every department.The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building sophisticated financial models, partnering with functional leaders on strategic initiatives, and rolling up their sleeves to improve processes and systems. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving complex business problems, and have a strong desire to help build an enduring company.Your responsibilities will include:Own accounting and financial operations: Oversee accounting, billing, tax, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly close processes, and financial controls. Ensure accurate financial reporting, strong compliance practices, and operational excellence across the company's financial infrastructure.Tell the financial story: Prepare board materials, investor updates, fundraising analyses, and executive reporting. Translate complex financial information into clear narratives that support decision-making among internal and external stakeholders.Own cash and capital planning: Monitor cash flow, runway, and capital needs. Build forecasting frameworks that ensure the company can make informed investment decisions while maintaining financial discipline.Guide strategic decision-making: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team. Evaluate growth initiatives, pricing strategies, resource allocation decisions, and other high-impact opportunities through a financial lens.Own company planning: Lead the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, and recurring forecasting cycles. Partner with department leaders to align investments, headcount, and operating plans with company goals.Drive FP&A: Build and maintain the financial models that power decision-making across the business. Develop reporting, dashboards, and KPI frameworks that provide visibility into company performance and key operating drivers.Improve business performance: Analyze trends across revenue, customer acquisition, retention, pricing, and operating expenses....
