Job Duties: Analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end-user applications. Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications. As a member of the software engineering division, perform detailed design based on provided design or external specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Analyze system specifications and existing business processes and information systems. Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. May review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate and interact with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general. Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an Applications Developer-related occupation. Position requires:
1. Python programming language;
2. JavaScript programming language;
3. Data sciences tools: Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Sklearn;
4. Natural Language Processing (NLP);
5. Python web development using Flask;
6. JavaScript web development using OJET;
7. Oracle Database;
8. SQLAlchemy;
9. Machine Learning (ML); and
10. Neural Networks.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
