Commercial Finance Manager
Ecolab is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Paper Division leading the Commercial Finance team, based in Naperville, IL. This position is a key business partner to the North America Paper VP & General Manager and plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth, ensuring business profitability, and developing finance talent at Ecolab. This role has direct responsibility for planning, reporting and analyzing all aspects of corporate account activities including pricing, refunds, gross margin improvement initiatives, contract compliance, and contract profitability. The position reports directly to the North America Paper Controller.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide financial support in the areas of deal analysis and contract negotiations, pricing strategy and execution, incentives analysis, and gross margin expansion
Build customer P&Ls to examine profitability for new and existing opportunities
Lead the PCAF (Proposed Contract Authorization Form) process to support internal approvals and documentation of deals
Support the contract negotiation process through collaboration with Sales and Legal.
Drive sustainable commercial strategies across each segment within the Paper Division
Review customer profitability to identify gross margin improvement (GMI) initiatives, track and quantify the financial impact, and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to implement
Lead the annual pricing plan and forecasting process & drive execution.
Recruit, coach, and develop diverse talent, driving a culture of high performance, engagement, and inclusion.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting
Strong analytical, critical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Understanding of commercial relationships and ability to drive outcomes
Strong relationship building and influencing skills; capable of working effectively with sales and other functions
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with leadership and present to varying audiences
Strong technical capabilities including systems skills, e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, SAP

Advanced degree (e.g. CPA or MBA)
Experience in commercial contract negotiations and development of pricing strategies
Supervisory experience
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $107,600.00 - $161,500.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
