About the role:
As part of the team supporting Gartner Service Descriptions, the Editor will create and maintain Service Descriptions, contractual documents describing Gartner product deliverables clients receive as part of their subscription services. Editor will assist with the coordination, revision, and management of translations of Service Descriptions within expected timeframes. Key business partners are Global Product Management, Legal and technical teams responsible for the Product Master. The role is suitable to individuals committed to teamwork and process improvement as we modernize our systems.
What you will do:
Oversee the documentation of Service Description standards, guidelines, governance and processes to ensure Service Descriptions are consistent to the Product Master, available, reliable and accurate.
Create, edit, and maintain Service Description documents in English as part of the end-to-end production process for Product creation, update and retirement.
Prioritize translations of Service Descriptions in collaboration with Pricing team, Product Management Team and External Service Provider to support countries in which we do business that require local language contract documents.
Maintain internal quality control procedures to ensure Service Description documents are (i) properly translated according to the Gartner Service Description Translation and Style Guidelines, (ii) proofread, and (iii) formatted in a manner consistent with the original English version.
Effectively collaborate across the business to assess recommendations and improvements to Service Descriptions in compliance with legal and business requirements.
Contributes to quarterly production updates of glossaries and style guides.
Timely completion of activities related to product releases and ensure Service Descriptions are posted and available to Sales.
What you will need:
Degree in Business, Journalism, Communications, English or other related field preferred.
2+ years of demonstrated professional experience in journalism, writing and editing in a technical environment.
Experience with reporting and configuring Salesforce/Conga CLM.
Highly organized with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and a highly dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams/departments/stakeholders
Flexible and able to balance priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously within tight schedules.
Fluent with excellent command of English. Proficiency in other languages desired but not required
