Part-Time Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Attending – Physician – NYC Health + Hospitals – Queens Hospital Center - Queens, NY
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with New York City H + H/Queens has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Otolaryngology Attending.
NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens is the first municipal hospital in the borough of Queens. The hospital offers high-quality care for Cancer, Diabetes Management, Women’s Health and Behavioral Health.
All faculty have an academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
The Otolaryngology Attending will perform a full spectrum of general and subspecialty outpatient and surgical care. Administrative responsibilities include assistance with oversight of advanced practice providers and resident physicians. On call responsibility is included. Candidates should have a strong interest in health equity and clinical operations as there are a variety of opportunities for program development and advancement. We have six physician assistants within the ENT department and an ambulatory NP to assist with inpatient, outpatient, and operative patient care. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.
- Must have an MD degree
- Board Certified with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number.
- Should have strong clinical abilities, teaching experience and communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior management/leadership positions and experience with academic medical centers and/or public health systems is preferred.
Compensation
We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
Compensation range from 210K to 228K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
