As FDGS Production Supervisor you will be responsible to provide direction and assistance to employees in order to maintain and improve Safety, guarantee product Quality, meet production targets and on time Delivery and balance cost in the assigned area.

Essential Responsibilities

The Production Supervisor will leverage experience and technical expertise to:

  • Solve problems and take decisions on production flow with impact on short- and medium-term objectives

  • Provide direction and guidance to production employees, including work assignments, scheduling of overtime, and training

  • Review daily activities to achieve the production schedules, customer satisfaction, cost goals, on time delivery, maintaining, at the same time, the highest standards of quality and achieving the highest EHS levels in the assigned area, for all products under his/her responsibility

  • Maintain and further develop a Visual Workplace including support for a 5-S program, active project boards, performance measure charts, and training program status boards 

  • Support all company workplace policies including attendance and safety objectives

  • Work with HR to develop a performance-oriented work environment encompassing timely performance appraisals, reviews for new employees, and timely disciplinary action when warranted.

  • Assist Cell Leader to make decisions in areas of process improvement and/or production to make appropriate resource decisions (manpower, fixtures, methods, scheduling) to facilitate the flow of units through the process

  • Support Flight Deck/Material mgmt. teams on process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve inventory turns and reduce manufacturing losses

Required Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree or High School Technical Diploma with previous experience in Supervisor role

  • Experience as team coordinator either for direct reports or in a project based and manufacturing environment

  • Solid experience in a Manufacturing environment

  • Availability to work on 3 shifts

  • Ability to work within a team

  • Fluent Italian and good English knowledge

  • EU Work Permit

  • Italian, Japanese, or British citizenship is required

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawing & specifications

  • Organizing and supporting quality improvement event

Contract Level: CCNL metalmeccanico – B2

Salary range for this role: 39,675.00 - 52,900.00 + Performance-related bonus + PDR up to 6000 euro
Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
