Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life® Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Manager, Nursing, you will lead the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on assigned unit(s), focusing on daily operations to achieve departmental goals and foster a high-quality care environment. Every day you will manage human, fiscal, material, support, and systems resources. You will consistently promote a positive work environment, prioritize associate engagement, and support staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong leadership, operational, and financial management skills, a deep understanding of clinical nursing practices, and a proven ability to foster a positive, high-performing team dedicated to quality patient care and continuous improvement.

  • Develop, monitor, and respond to a full range of financial, service, and quality indicators in all areas of responsibilities.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing plan matching competency with patient acuity.
  • Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals. Involve associates in decision through shared governance structure.
  • Maintain compliance with operational procedures/organizational policies for the clinical activities and regulatory readiness.
  • Conduct an evaluation of productivity and collaborate with finance to forecast revenue and expenses to prepare and manage the unit/department’s budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with associates, physicians, and patients.

Job Requirements

Required

  • A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN)
  • Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable
  • Three (3) years RN experience
  • One (1) year clinical leadership experience
  • Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Must sit for appropriate board certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer into the role. Certification must be passed/obtained within two (2) years of hire or transfer into the role
