Sr. Manager, Finance (Logistics)

This role is the key cog in explaining Indirect COGS results. This individual will play a key role in the tracking, budgeting and reporting of information related to Indirect COGS, including the explanation of cause of change vs forecast. This role is responsible for the development of financial presentations to upper management and the explanation of Indirect COGS results.
Accoountabilities:
- Lead month end close process, including succinctly and effectively providing the explanation for the cause of change vs forecast for Indirect COGS.
- Provide monthly support and tracking information to Logistics partners for FG Inventory.
- Partner with Commercial finance to corroborate and explain Indirect COGS in Chairman’s View P&L
- Lead annual budgeting and LE forecast process across Supply Chain organization
- Lead Inventory Risk/Reserve Tracking process
Key Metrics & Financial Targets:
- Delivery of COGS, Safety, and Quality KPI’s
- Inventory Risk/Reserve Summary
- FG Inventory levels
Own:
- Reporting of Indirect COGS for the US organization
- Updating of Inventory Reserve Tracker
Influence:
- Areas to focus on in order to achieve forecasted targets
- Inventory that gets Reserved
Veto:
- Spend that is not in the best interest of the business
Critical Relationships:
- Commercial Finance

Skills Needed To Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 7 years of accounting and finance experience
- Strong business partnering with the ability to influence
- Business Savvy
- Detail oriented
Compensation:
Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
- Competitive annual salary from $138,000 to $165,000 based in Chicago, IL
