In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to combine Glovo's vibrant, fast-paced culture with the reach and complexity of the Delivery Hero Group, one of the world's largest local delivery platforms. You'll be part of a Central Team based in Barcelona, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions that support the entire global ecosystem of the Group.
THE JOURNEYAdvocate for quality across the teamContribute to and execute the quality strategy, applying QA processes and practicesAutomate critical end-to-end flows, assisting engineers with test automationInvestigate and respond to troubleshooting requests raised by our local teams around the worldMonitor product quality metrics, logs, and alerts, and recommend observability improvementsPerform exploratory testing and other hands-on validation activities to complement automated testingIdentify and document test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage across functionalitiesEnhance automation toolsCollaborate with developers, UX/UI designers, data experts, and product managers to continuously improve our vendor-facing applicationsQualifications3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance2+ years of android app testing experience2+ years of test automation experience (e.g., Appium, RestAssured, Cucumber)Strong knowledge of OOP languages (e.g., Java/Kotlin)Experience with test strategy, case creation, and documentationAbility to quickly understand complex technical concepts and transpose them into clear concise documentationProficient English communication skillsNice to have:Experience with Appium/EspressoSoftware development experience (Android experience is a plus)Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., GCP).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Drone CI, GitHub Actions, Bitrise etc).Strong experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools like Grafana, Crashlytics, or SentrAdditional InformationIndividuals representing diverse profiles, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas.
