Record-to-Report (GL) Accountant with English

Our culture of growth and empathy focuses on your long-term career development while valuing your unique skills and experiences. **Your role and responsibilities** Record-to-Report Accountant Responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger in line with accounting standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation * Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances * Review general ledger balances and follow up on open or aged items * Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities * Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with deadlines * Identify and resolve general ledger and accounting issues * Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation * Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and policies * Analyze financial data and support continuous improvement initiatives * Ensure delivery of agreed scope of work within SLA timelines * Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships * Provide support for process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives **Required technical and professional expertise** Key Requirements * Fluent English (min. B2/C1) * Experience in Record to Report processes (journal entries posting, account reconciliation, period close activities) * Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies independently * High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing * Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end tasks * Strong self-discipline and accountability, especially in a remote or high-pressure environment * Ability to work under time pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines * Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to issue resolution * Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), with confidence in interacting with stakeholders * Process-oriented mindset, with the ability to quickly learn and stabilize new processes within a limited KT period Personal Profile * Diligent, reliable, and well-organized * Open-minded with a positive, solution-oriented attitude * Strong sense of ownership and commitment to quality * Team player, but also capable of working independently with minimal supervision **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Ability to operate effectively in a newly transitioned and evolving process * Readiness to take on a high level of responsibility, as the client retains only a limited process ownership structure (single Process Owner) * Flexibility and resilience when working with a demanding client environment * Continuous focus on process improvement and efficiency * Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP system IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
