NTT DATA (Thailand) is expanding its Cloud Practice with a strategic focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as a core Go-To-Market (GTM) pillar. We are looking for a Cloud Technical Architect who can lead GCP-centric presales engagements, design landing zones and migration architectures, and act as a trusted technical advisor to customers evaluating cloud platforms.
This role is GCP-led, not GCP-only. We welcome architects whose deepest expertise sits on AWS or Azure, provided they bring strong cloud architecture fundamentals and a genuine interest in building GCP capability. Hands-on GCP certification or project experience is a plus, not a hard requirement — the right multi-cloud mindset and willingness to grow into GCP GTM leadership matters more than which logo is on your badge today.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical presales for cloud opportunities with a strategic emphasis on GCP, including solution design, architecture diagrams, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs).
Partner with the Sales and Cloud GTM teams to position GCP as part of NTT DATA's multi-cloud offering, contributing to pipeline growth and deal qualification.
Design and present cloud architectures (landing zones, migration blueprints, application modernization patterns) covering compute, networking, security, and data services.
Translate customer business requirements into technical solutions, cost estimates (TCO/ROI), and statements of work (SOW).
Act as a bridge between GCP hyperscaler alliance teams (Google Cloud, and where relevant AWS/Azure partner teams) and internal delivery teams.
Build and deliver architecture workshops, technical demos, and RFP/RFI responses for enterprise clients.
Stay current on GCP roadmap, certifications, and competitive positioning versus AWS and Azure; mentor junior architects on GCP fundamentals.
Support the build-out of reusable GCP reference architectures, accelerators, and presales collateral as part of the practice's GTM strategy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, presales, or solutions engineering roles.
Strong hands-on architecture experience on at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP) — deep GCP experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Solid understanding of core cloud domains: compute, networking, IAM/security, storage, and data/AI services.
Demonstrated ability to design and present technical solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
Experience with migration methodologies, landing zone design, or cloud cost/TCO modeling.
Excellent communication skills in English and Thai; comfortable presenting to C-level and technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing GCP certification (Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer) or clear intent to certify within the first 6 months.
Multi-cloud exposure across two or more of AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Prior presales or GTM experience in a systems integrator, consulting firm, or hyperscaler partner environment.
Familiarity with application modernization, containers/Kubernetes (GKE), or data & AI workloads on GCP.
Experience contributing to alliance/partner-level GTM initiatives (e.g., co-selling with Google Cloud).
