The Office of the University Registrar is a technical and functional expert on all functions of the Registrar’s office, including protection and integrity of the student records, reporting compliance, institutional needs, data stewardship, technical enhancements, and business solutions. This position serves as the supplemental interface between the Office of the University Registrar business area, divisional registrar offices, University technology team, and contracted services, assisting in the functional areas of catalogue, academic calendar, academic and event scheduling, and classroom management. The Business Analyst will fully understand business problems presented and recommend creative solutions. They will support tasks and projects related to data-driven decision-making, focusing on data integration, integrity, mining, analysis, and reporting. In addition, this position provides functional support to the Office of the University Registrar team, collaborates with the University Information Systems team, and contributes to the success of technical and functional projects. This role is 100% remote.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesAcademic Catalogue Production and Publishing.Lead catalogue communication with editors across all divisions. Collaborate with the divisional registrar offices to maintain a list of page owners, editors, and approvers. Update roles and authenticate users as needed.Assist with maintenance and updates of catalogue software.Create documentation and conduct training on catalogue software for end-users.Ensure data integrity and monitor entry, analysis, and report generation for adherence to established policies,procedures, and deadlines.Partner with divisions to ensure catalogue data is accurately reflected across all systems.Coordinate and execute program records maintenance throughout various systems.Suggest enhancements in catalogue processes.Lead projects where applicable.Academic and Event SchedulingSupport the daily operation of the University scheduling software CollegeNET/25Live with database updates.Serve as the 25Live system administrator, ensuring effective, accurate, and efficient class scheduling.Analyze space usage to ensure effective utilization of resources and identify spaces.Produce periodic space utilization analytics for executive leadership.Develop new uses and reporting formats for the university on space utilization.Provide training to department chairs, administrative associates, campus administration, and others in the 25Live program to ensure optimal utilization of academic and non-academic space.Create training documents and how-to guides for use university-wide.Create reports and documents used by the University as a basis for accrediting body-required reports.Oversee access permissions for administrators.Participate on the 25Live Steering Committee to identify and implement methods and practices that result in successful administrative functioning for scheduling.Academic CalendarProduce and maintain a 10-year Academic Calendar...
