Key Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Engineer – Coil Shop, you'll be responsible for:
• Providing technical support for Coil Shop manufacturing processes, including Fin Press, Hairpin Bender, and Expander operations.
• Coordinating and developing manufacturing technical personnel assigned to the area.
• Leading CAPEX projects related to equipment acquisition, installation, validation, tooling, and process improvements.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Analyzing and resolving manufacturing issues using Lean Manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Developing and maintaining work instructions, PFMEA documentation, Control Plans, and visual management tools.
• Coordinating activities with Production, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and Advanced Manufacturing teams.
• Supporting new product introductions, engineering changes, and process validation activities.
• Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing actions to achieve operational targets.
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes, preferably within the HVAC industry.
• Experience leading or coordinating manufacturing technical personnel.
• Experience managing and executing CAPEX projects.
• Experience with the installation, startup, and validation of manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC coil manufacturing processes, including Fin Press, Hairpin Bender, and Expander equipment.
• Experience performing Root Cause Analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Core Tools, including PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA.
• Conversational English proficiency.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
• Previous experience in HVAC manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI) and process optimization projects.
