Job Description Summary
As the Software and Controls Solutions (SCS) Quality Leader for the MENAT region and the JAFZA site, you will serve as the primary advocate for quality excellence. Our customers rely on our systems, software, and mechanical equipment to ensure the safe and reliable operation of critical energy infrastructure. Reporting to the SCS Global Quality Leader, you will provide strategic oversight and tactical leadership, driving rapid issue resolution and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance & Certification: Maintain and secure essential qualifications and certifications required for regional growth, including ISO-9001:2015, TR&S, and IEEE-1012.
- Audit Management: Direct the internal and external audit program to ensure strict adherence to QMS and regulatory standards; serve as the primary owner of certificates of compliance for JAFZA manufacturing operations.
- Customer & Project Quality: Act as the voice of the customer during Pre-Qualification and Project Quality Engineering phases; facilitate clear, frequent communication to align expectations and outcomes.
- Operational Excellence: Conduct daily Gemba walks to represent the voice of the employee, identify process bottlenecks, and champion high-impact Quality KPIs (Customer Experience, CoPQ, resolution cycle times, and nonconformance management).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Projects, Engineering, Operations, and Sourcing to enforce "Stop the Line" protocols, accelerate defect resolution, and integrate lessons learned into future workflows.
- Supply Chain Oversight: Provide rigorous quality oversight for contract project manufacturers to ensure consistent delivery standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Six Sigma, and Shainin methodologies. Advocate for scalable, data-driven solutions at the operational level.
- Quality Culture Leadership: Mentor stakeholders across the organization to cultivate a mindset centered on the Zero Defect framework, Built in Quality, customer passion, regulatory rigor, and systematic waste reduction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality leadership or commercial/operations/supply chain or similar role role with a significant focus on 1auality management
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- This role requires around 25% travel, primarily within the region with occasional travel outside the region

- Deep process expertise in the Software and Electronics industry, with experience in critical infrastructure preferred.

- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present the business case for quality to senior leadership.
- Proven track record in Change Management and the successful implementation of Lean cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated proficiency in "hands-on" problem-solving, with clear examples of leading full corrective action lifecycles from identification to resolution.
- Ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships while driving organizational transformation.
