About the Job:

The Phased Gates Team (PGT) is the engineering heart of Red Hat's proactive support strategy. Our vision is to be the technical "Supportability Intelligence Center of Excellence" for the entire company. We are building the "Supportability Intelligence Platform"—the core service that provides our expert rules and AI-driven insights to all of Red Hat's in-product health and AI initiatives.

This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role. You will be the "Product Owner" for this new "Supportability Intelligence Platform." You will be responsible for defining its vision, managing its roadmap, and guiding the engineering team (our Phased Gates Architects) to build a scalable, reliable, and powerful service. You will be the primary link between our technical architects and the rest of the business, ensuring our intelligence is delivered in the most effective way possible.

What will you do:

  • Own the Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Act as the strategic "product owner" for the "Supportability Intelligence Platform." You will define and manage the product roadmap, prioritize the backlog, and make the key decisions to guide its development and expansion.

  • Lead Technical Program Execution: Manage the end-to-end execution of our technical initiatives, including the development of our AI-driven models, the expansion of our proactive coverage to new products like RHEL, and the delivery of our intelligence via APIs, SDKs, or data models.

  • Manage Stakeholder & "Consumer" Integration: Serve as the primary point of contact for the "consumers" of our platform. You will manage the strategic integrations with other Red Hat AI platforms, in-product health teams, and as-a-service offerings.

  • Partner with the FQT Intelligence Hub: Manage the "Operational Loop" with the Field Quality Team (FQT). You will be responsible for the formal intake process, translating their validated insights into a prioritized backlog of features and rules for the PGT's architects.

  • Drive an AI-First Engineering Culture: Champion our AI-first mission by working with your technical team to embed AI and automation into every part of the development lifecycle, accelerating our own execution.

What will you bring:

  • 5+ Year experience in proven operating at a Senior level in a Technical Program Management or Technical Product Management role.

  • A strong track record of managing a technical, "as-a-service" product or platform, especially one focused on data, APIs, or AI.

  • Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies, with experience managing a backlog for a senior engineering team.

  • A genuine passion for AI and automation and a clear vision for how to build and scale AI-driven products.

  • Experience managing programs that involve the development and integration of AI/ML models.

  • A commitment to data integrity and validation, applying critical judgment to all data and AI-generated outputs.

  • Communication & Influence: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and foster transparency when translating complex technical roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: The ability to navigate high levels of ambiguity, make difficult prioritization decisions, and define a clear, strategic path for a technical product.

  • Collaboration & Relationship Building: A natural "bridge-builder" who creates an inclusive environment for your engineering team and collaborates effectively with peer teams (like the FQT, BI, and other product teams).

  • Adaptability & Learning: The ability to thrive in ambiguity and a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning in the rapidly evolving field of AI and platform services. Stop.
