NTT DATA currently seeks a Mailroom Operations Associate to join our team in Lincoln, NE.

Job Description

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented temporary Mail Processing Associates to support a high-volume mailing project running from July through December. This role will focus on printing, assembling, manually inserting multi-page letters into large envelopes, and metering outgoing mail to ensure timely and accurate distribution.

Role Summary The Mail Processing Associate is responsible for supporting a large-scale mailing initiative involving approximately 250,000 letters, most exceeding 10 pages. Due to document size, a significant portion of the work will require manual envelope stuffing. This position plays a key role in ensuring all mail is prepared accurately, efficiently, and on schedule throughout the project period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Print large volumes of letters and supporting documents for outbound mailings
  • Assemble, organize, and prepare multi-page mail packets for distribution
  • Manually insert 10+ page letters into large envelopes with a high degree of accuracy
  • Verify document completeness, page order, and matching of materials before mailing
  • Operate postage metering equipment and prepare mail for shipment
  • Sort, stack, and organize completed mail batches for pickup or delivery
  • Maintain production pace to meet daily and weekly mailing targets
  • Identify and report printing, assembly, or mailing errors promptly
  • Follow established mailing procedures, quality standards, and confidentiality requirements
  • Support general mailroom and project-related tasks as needed

  • Volume: Approximately 250,000 outbound letters
  • Mailing type: Multi-page letters, primarily requiring manual insertion into large envelopes

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks with consistency and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume work
  • Ability to follow written instructions and established procedures
  • Basic experience with printers, mail equipment, or production support preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attendance and reliability throughout the project duration
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize boxes of paper, envelopes, and completed mail trays as needed
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during printing and stuffing tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a mailroom, print shop, document processing, fulfillment, or administrative support environment
  • Experience with postage metering or high-volume mailing projects
  • Familiarity with quality control in production-based work

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($16.00/hourly ). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
 
This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
