What You Will Do:

Monitor and analyze total manufacturing costs, including direct labor, materials, overhead, and production expenses.
Prepare and maintain manufacturing cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production teams to understand cost drivers and improve cost performance.
Track manufacturing KPIs such as labor efficiency, material utilization, scrap, rework, and productivity.
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
Conduct root-cause analysis of cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
Validate cost assumptions for new products, process changes, and capital investments.
Ensure accurate cost allocation and compliance with company financial policies.
Prepare management presentations and recommendations related to manufacturing cost performance.
Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
Experience in manufacturing operations, cost accounting, financial analysis, or industrial engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and all levels of management.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.]

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project
management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
