Accountabilities:

    The Senior Manager, Commercial FP&A — OPEX will lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis activities supporting commercial teams. The role will serve as a trusted finance partner, helping leaders manage investments, evaluate performance, and make informed business decisions while improving FP&A processes and tools.

    • Lead OPEX planning, forecasting, and performance management activities for commercial Centers of Excellence.
    • Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, recommendations, and decision support related to spending, priorities, and operational outcomes.
    • Support annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, monthly close activities, business reviews, and leadership reporting.
    • Analyze financial performance, including variances, forecast changes, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
    • Develop clear financial narratives and executive-ready presentations for leadership stakeholders.
    • Drive improvements in planning, reporting, and analysis processes through standardization, automation, and scalable solutions.
    • Create and implement tools, templates, timelines, and guidance to improve consistency and efficiency across FP&A teams.
    • Identify opportunities to simplify recurring activities while maintaining strong financial controls, accuracy, and data integrity.
    • Build strong relationships across finance and commercial teams while operating effectively in a complex, matrixed environment.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a commercially minded finance professional with strong FP&A expertise, analytical capabilities, and experience partnering with business stakeholders in a complex organization. They should demonstrate the ability to influence decisions, improve processes, and communicate financial insights clearly.

      • Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or a related finance function, preferably within a multinational or matrixed organization.
      • Proven experience supporting business units, functional leaders, regional teams, or commercial organizations as a finance partner.
      • Strong knowledge of OPEX planning, forecasting, variance analysis, performance management, and P&L principles.
      • Experience with annual planning, quarterly forecasting, monthly close processes, management reporting, and financial analysis.
      • Demonstrated ability to design, improve, standardize, and automate finance processes, tools, and reporting solutions.
      • Strong financial modeling, analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to transform complex financial and operational information into clear insights and recommendations.
      • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills across different organizational levels.
      • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with finance teams and business leaders.
      • Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, adaptability, and comfort working in a fast-changing environment.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline required; MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
