Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, reliability, and usability.
- Build, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure continuous quality across development cycles.
- Perform defect identification, tracking, and resolution, ensuring issues are thoroughly analyzed and prevented from recurring.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define clear acceptance criteria and ensure requirement alignment.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, load, and accessibility testing, including Section 508 compliance validation.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), release readiness, and documentation of testing artifacts, including test results and defect logs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes through analysis of metrics, feedback, and testing outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 3–7 years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar QA engineering role.
- Strong experience in test planning, automation framework development, and defect lifecycle management.
- Hands-on expertise with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or comparable QA technologies.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development practices.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance and usability testing practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
