This role is focused on ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-performing software solutions within fast-paced, mission-driven Agile environments. You will play a key role in safeguarding product quality by designing and executing test strategies across functional, integration, regression, and performance domains. The position combines hands-on automation development with close collaboration across engineering, product, and stakeholder teams to define acceptance criteria and validate requirements. You will contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes, embedding quality throughout the software lifecycle. In addition, the role requires a strong focus on accessibility, compliance, and federal-grade standards, ensuring systems meet strict usability and regulatory expectations. Accountabilities:

    • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, reliability, and usability.
    • Build, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies.
    • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure continuous quality across development cycles.
    • Perform defect identification, tracking, and resolution, ensuring issues are thoroughly analyzed and prevented from recurring.
    • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define clear acceptance criteria and ensure requirement alignment.
    • Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, load, and accessibility testing, including Section 508 compliance validation.
    • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), release readiness, and documentation of testing artifacts, including test results and defect logs.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes through analysis of metrics, feedback, and testing outcomes.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
      • 3–7 years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar QA engineering role.
      • Strong experience in test planning, automation framework development, and defect lifecycle management.
      • Hands-on expertise with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or comparable QA technologies.
      • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
      • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development practices.
      • Knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance and usability testing practices.
      • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
      • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
