Machine Operator - Level 1
We are seeking a Level 1 Machine Operator to join our team at our Fombell, PA location. This is an entry-level position that provides extensive on-the-job training to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for ECAE Forging Operation. Initially, all tasks will be performed under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and demonstrate proficiency in the operational procedures of the metal processing department.
- Work alongside ECAE Operators Level II, III, or Lead until deemed proficient enough in specific procedures to complete tasks independently.
- Understand and execute all safety and emergency procedures relevant to the job.
- Support and participate in all site safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Actively participate in improving the work environment by maintaining cleanliness, practicing good housekeeping, and adhering to all environmental, health, and safety policies.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
Shift Schedule:
- 5am to 3pm and 3pm to 1am, shifts rotate weekly.
You Must Have:
- Ability to work rotating 10-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with weekend overtime as needed. The metal processing department consists of 2 different crews covering production.
- Ability to collaborate with others and work independently when trained.
- Ability to troubleshoot where necessary.
- Ability to work in both hot environments as required.
We Value:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience in forklift operation is highly valued and will be considered an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety practices are essential for success in this position.
- Creative thinking and idea generation.
- Ability to communicate information clearly.

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $21.50/Hour plus $2 per hour in shift differential. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
