As Purchasing Officer, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly through smart purchasing and planning decisions. Working closely with our Sourcing team, you'll support category roadmaps and identify opportunities to continuously improve how we operate.You'll own end-to-end purchasing and planning across Fresh Produce and Ready-to-Heat categories, balancing customer demand, supplier capability and operational requirements.Success in this role means making timely, commercially sound purchasing decisions that deliver strong service outcomes, control costs and minimise waste.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end purchasing, planning, and PO execution across allocated categoriesTranslate demand requirements into accurate and timely ordering decisions across FCsPartner closely with Sourcing to align supplier capability, availability, and commercial outcomesMonitor and manage inventory, service levels, and waste performanceDrive ordering discipline, cadence, and continuous improvementIdentify risks and implement proactive supply and inventory actionsWhat we’re looking for:High availability with disciplined inventoryReduced waste and cost leakageStrong supplier alignment and executionClear ownership of purchasing outcomes end-to-endYou’ll bring:Experience in purchasing or planningExperience in fresh produce, ready-to-heat, or other perishable / short shelf-life categories highly regardedStrong commercial judgement balancing cost, availability, and wasteConfident stakeholder management across suppliers and internal teamsData-driven with strong attention to detailWhat’s in it for you:Enjoy discounted Marley Spoon boxes, conveniently delivered to your doorstep.Experience autonomy in every role - act in an environment where we get things done without having formal...
