What you will do:

The Field Service Coordinator supports the Frick Technical Service organization by coordinating field service and startup activities, administering warranty programs, processing service billing, managing vendor recoveries, and providing operational and financial reporting. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, field service technicians, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure efficient service execution and effective warranty management.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer requests for startup, warranty, vibration analysis, and field service activities.

  • Schedule field service and startup technicians and maintain service-related documentation.

  • Create and manage service orders within SAP.

  • Process customer billing for service visits, startup activities, vibration analysis services, and other billable work.

  • Administer warranty claims and support timely resolution of customer issues.

  • Manage supplier warranty recoveries, including credits, debit memos, and reimbursement claims.

  • Generate and analyze SAP reports related to warranty costs, service activities, labor, billing, and recoveries.

  • Actively participate in plant quality and warranty meetings by preparing and presenting financial and operational warranty data.

  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service teams to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Minimum three years of experience in service coordination, warranty administration, customer service, or related operational support roles.

  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or field service environments.

  • Experience with service billing, warranty management, and vendor recovery processes.

  • Strong reporting and data analysis capabilities.

Position Impact

This position is critical to customer satisfaction, service execution, warranty cost management, supplier recoveries, and business reporting. The Field Service Coordinator provides the operational and financial support necessary to drive service performance and continuous quality improvement.

SALARY RANGE: $68,000 - $101,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance.  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
