Team Lead – Vendor Liaison Centre (VLC)

Duties & responsibilities
To provide comprehensive support to the S&P Stakeholders/Clients on Account and to lead and supervise the VLC Support team within the S&P APAC function, in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes. Help achieve completion of the project globally. Developing and updating key tools and resources to support the business will add value and efficiency to JLL and its Clients
Team Lead will ensure that the following scope will be managed effectively by the team:
• Vendor Queries (call and email) – including EFT and remittance advices for the VLC account and JDE and Corrigo invoice status.
• Vendor Registration – submitting, amending and deactivating Australia vendor profiles.
• Purchase Order – submitting PO requests with complete requirements (PORF, quotation and approval), PO prints to requestors, and producing the monthly Open PO report.
• Processing Gross Receipting requests
• Invoice Processing and Reconciliation – coordinating between vendors and the account team and validating invoice status and details in Corrigo and JDE.
Team Lead will ensure that the following scope will be managed effectively:
• Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews (MBRs and QBRs) with business partners, presenting performance against targets, key insights and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure the team’s compliance with company policies, procedures, controls and agreed ways of working.
• Manage the team’s commitments to the account, including service level agreements (SLAs) and agreed deliverables, ensuring these are consistently met.
• Monitor, manage and report on team performance, productivity and quality, identifying and actioning areas for improvement.
• Identify and escalate priority issues, follow-up where necessary.
• Support ad-hoc projects.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with business partners, account leads and key internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide guidance, coaching and day-to-day supervision to team members, managing prioritization and workload to meet client time frames.

Key Skills
- Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
- In-depth knowledge of vendor management and finance support function
- Excellent communicator, Decision making skills and good presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office skills, highly skilled in MS Excel, analytical and reporting skills

- Relevant work experience with exposure in procurement and finance will be highly regarded.
- Proven experience leading or supervising a team, with in-depth knowledge of performance metrics and the ability to manage a diverse range of service providers, client representatives and business stakeholders.
- Background in vendor or customer support handling both call and email requests, with strong data accuracy, reporting and MS Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Relationship builder both externally & internally
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with competing timelines
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency in completing objectives on time
- Flexible attitude, team leader, detail-oriented
