Your Team Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an experienced Analytics Client Service Specialist to join our Client Coverage organization in our Monterrey or Mexico City office. The MSCI Global Client Service team is composed of experienced financial professionals that provide first tier support for our clients around the world. Team members are responsible for responding to a wide variety of methodology, usage, interpretational, and technical questions on both analytical and benchmark products. Client contact is primarily via telephone and email, but occasional travel may be required for on-site presentations or trainings. Client Service Specialists work closely with account managers and consultants to develop and maintain client relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities
As a CS Associate, you'll serve as a trusted partner, helping clients maximize the value of MSCI's products, research, and analytics. You'll combine analytical thinking, relationship management, and market expertise to deliver an exceptional client experience while collaborating with teams across the organization.
In this role, you will:
- Become a trusted advisor to clients by providing timely, accurate, and insightful responses to complex questions about MSCI's products, methodologies, and data solutions, helping clients confidently apply our offerings to their investment decisions.
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships through proactive engagement, regular follow-ups, and personalized support, ensuring client needs are understood and addressed while identifying opportunities to enhance their experience.
- Analyze financial markets and client data to deliver meaningful insights on market movements, index performance, and product-related trends. You'll provide both reactive support and proactive analysis that helps clients stay informed and make data-driven decisions.
- Deliver a best-in-class client experience by ensuring clients receive relevant product updates, methodology enhancements, market developments, and educational resources that help them maximize the value of MSCI solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Research, Coverage, Engineering, and Production to communicate client feedback, influence product improvements, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of MSCI's products and services.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, data requests, and day-to-day support, coordinating internally to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining high standards of responsiveness and service quality.
- Stay informed on global financial markets by monitoring economic developments, industry trends, and market events, leveraging this knowledge to provide clients with relevant context and informed perspectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance client support processes, improve operational efficiency, and share best practices across the team.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative, global team.
- 3–5 years of experience in Financial Services, Asset Management, Investment Banking, Risk Management, Capital Markets, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts, methodologies, and technical information clearly to clients, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly to changing business needs, and effectively prioritize competing demands.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions, geographies, and cultures, building strong relationships and engaging the right stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
- Client-centric mindset with a track record of delivering value-added solutions and fostering long-term client partnerships.
- Forward-thinking approach with the ability to anticipate emerging trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive innovative solutions.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills, with a structured approach to problem solving and decision making.
- Working knowledge of AI-powered tools and technologies, with the ability to leverage them to enhance productivity, analysis, and client service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
- Solid understanding of international financial institutions, investment management, and global capital markets.
- Strong knowledge of financial and risk management concepts, including market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, counterparty credit risk, stress testing, Value at Risk (VaR), portfolio construction, optimization, CAPM, modern portfolio theory, and multi-factor risk models.
- Experience supporting institutional clients or working in a client-facing, analytical, consulting, or investment-related role is highly valued.
