We are seeking a highly organised Document Controller to join our Honeywell team in Eastbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of documents between the customer and HMD. This is a full time onsite position.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage the creation, storage, submission and approval of internally generated and subcontractor’s documents and procedures as per contractual requirements
  • Actively supports the Project Manager to achieve a successful completion of the project
  • Manage all project documentation generated by internal departments and sub-contractors
  • Create and revise as required project documentation for customer approval
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure company generated documents comply with company and client document management system

Key skills and qualifications

  • Previous document control experience within Engineering or Manufacturing is desirable
  • Able to manage own workload within the confines of the project schedule
  • Able to discuss and resolve risks and opportunities directly with the customer 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages including Excel, Word and PDF editor.
  • Highly organised and able to work under minimal supervision, capable of working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus
