Position: Sales Operations & Support Lead
Job Summary
We are seeking a resourceful and dedicated Sales Operations and Support Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Country Head and the Sales team in various sales support function, including sales reporting and pre/post sales processes. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless sales operations and providing valuable support in bid support, order processing, and local sales & marketing activities. The candidate must be able to manage complex tasks and be highly organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales team by leading the support and administrative functions, ensuring an efficient and effective sales operations.
- Support pre-sales activities, including preparing sales materials, supporting key engagement activities material preparation.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of bids and proposals, including bid bond application, preparation of materials, reviewing bid submittals and tracking all submission and filing.
- Manage order processing and drive approval of order processing within our systems and processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, logistics, project and sales to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
- Support in stock requisition, pre-production process.
- Provide administrative support for sales events, trade shows, and customer visits and customer appreciation programmer.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, pricing guidelines, and approval processes.
- This role is both a senior individual contributor role as well as a supervisory role to small team of sales support and operations executives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales support or administrative role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, manage priorities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CRM software (for example - Siebel, Salesforce or Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Some supervisory role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data.
- Resourceful and dedicated, with the ability to manage complex tasks efficiently.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
