In this position... 

As the Group Product Manager, you will be a key leader in shaping the future of our Subscription Revenue Platform responsible for defining and executing the product vision that drives our enterprise strategy forward. You will leverage your proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex features and systems and collaborating effectively with leadership, Ford Motor Company, engineering, operations and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision that drives our strategy forward.

 

This role requires a strong product mindset to manage the Subscription Revenue Management platform and deliver flawless execution of all global transactions, including accounting, tax structure, operations and the product catalog of the subscription business.You will play a key role in leading the team to prioritize requests and solve the right problems with a strategic perspective.

What you'll do...

  • You will support defining and acting as champion of a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Subscription Revenue Platform, aligning with overall business objectives, maintaining the platform and driving business value through improving efficiency and customer satisfaction and representing the voice of the customer at the executive level 

  • You will develop and manage a prioritized product roadmap, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals. You will lead the team to prioritize features based on customer and business needs and develop subscription Subject Matter Expertise and balance short-term deliverables against long-term platform investments. 

  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through a well-managed governance process. They will feel that they have a voice and have clear insight into platform core deliverable and roadmaps.Collaborate with business partners to translate business goals and customer needs into platform capabilities/features. You will manage escalations from stakeholders and business partners and/or cross-functional dependencies and blockers. 

  • You will manage, mentor and develop team members, deliver feedback, career planning and You will foster a strong product culture, best practices, and shared frameworks within the team.  You will resolve cross-team prioritization conflicts and resource allocation issues 

  • You will create detailed features, user stories, acceptance criteria and incorporate into release planning.Identify feature/enhancement pros, cons, issues, obstacles, and dependencies. Use data to identify opportunities, forecast feature value to set goals, KPIs, and prioritization.Develop tests and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing to refine features. Participate in standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos and retrospectives. Drive post-launch analysis and performance. 

  • You will work closely with engineering, operations, legal, accounting, tax, the Ford subscription team and supplier teams to ensure seamless product launches, ongoing support and collectively identify and resolve impediments.

  • You will represent the product group in executive/leadership meetings and manage portfolio performance reporting.  Monitor product and operational health metrics, KPIs, for the platform.   

  • You and engineering partners will track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to platform uptime and health. You will identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance the value of the platform.Disseminate lessons learned and platform evolution.

  • You will maintain a strong understanding of relevant global regulations, ensure that the platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations and assess and mitigate risks.

  • You will prioritize security and compliance to ensure the platform meets the highest security standards to protect sensitive customer data.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • 6+ years of related experience in a Product Management or technology role.

  • Experience writing product requirement documents and working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern software design and development team.

 

Even better, you may have...

  • Master’s Degree.

  • Experience with subscription platforms and products.

  • Experience using data to drive decisions, understand the customer journey and define actions to improve and resolve customer pain points and creating informative, actionable dashboards to expose product metrics and performance.

  • Experience working with analytical tools and data to understand product performance and opportunities.

  • A history of successful coaching and/or leading teams.

  • Track record of driving org-wide adoption of new product practices, tools, or frameworks.

  • Demonstrated experience with SAAS software development.

  • Experience working with agile methodologies, test driven development and continuous deployment and product management practices.

  • Experience working in a fast paced, fluid environment where priorities shift on a regular basis.

  • Ability to break down complex, ambiguous tasks or requirements into simpler, more manageable tasks and communicate to stakeholders and leadership. 

  • Experience communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization. 

  • Experience working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, software design and development team. 

  • Ability to gather customer insights through user research and testing, competitive analysis and prioritize product features appropriately to address findings.

  • Aptitude to recognize roadblocks and escalate issues and seek help when needed.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, self-starter, and proactive attitude.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $132,800-$250,800.     

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
