  • Own the collection, parsing, normalization, enrichment, routing, retention, and access patterns for security telemetry.

  • Ensure the reliability, integrity, and availability of log data supporting threat detection, investigations, incident response, compliance, and security monitoring.

  • Drive automation and engineering best practices to improve scalability, consistency, operational efficiency, and platform reliability.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled technologies to improve security engineering workflows, telemetry analysis, and reporting.

  • Partner with Security Operations, Incident Response, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, and software engineering teams to improve telemetry coverage and detection capabilities.

  • Define technical standards, documentation, and operational processes that improve platform resilience, maintainability, and long-term sustainability.

  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple initiatives and cross-functional teams.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Extensive experience in Security Engineering, Platform Engineering, Logging, Observability, Detection Engineering, or closely related disciplines.

  • Strong understanding of security logging architectures and telemetry pipelines, including data collection, transport, normalization, enrichment, storage, retention, and access patterns.

  • Experience building, operating, and scaling distributed systems or enterprise data pipelines.

  • Experience working closely with Security Operations, Threat Detection, Incident Response, or Security Analytics teams.

  • Strong technical leadership with the ability to influence architecture and engineering decisions across multiple teams.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AI-enabled tools that improve engineering productivity, security analysis, reporting, or workflow automation.
