We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Operations Finance Analyst to drive financial visibility, forecasting, and decision support across operations. This role will serve as a key partner to the Operations and Finance teams, helping translate operational activities into financial insights while strengthening our forecasting and planning capabilities.

Our Group
The Operations Finance team partners with the Operations organization to provide financial leadership, business insights, and decision support. The team is responsible for inventory, costing, variances, forecasting, and operational performance management across global operations, while supporting continued expansion and growth initiatives.
What you'll be doing
- Build and maintain forecasting models, planning assumptions, and financial data integrity across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
- Analyze actual performance versus forecast, identify key drivers and variances, and translate findings into clear business insights.
- Prepare concise financial and operational performance reporting to support leadership reviews and decision-making.
- Partner closely with Operations to understand operational drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and improve recurring reports and dashboards, leveraging automation and advanced analytics to increase efficiency and visibility.
- Collaborate with Operations Finance team members on inventory, costing, and variance-related initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Applied Materials Standards of Business Conduct and financial governance requirements.
What should you have?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
- At least 4 years of experience in FP&A, Operations Finance, Cost Accounting, or a related analytical role.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, BI tools, or similar reporting platforms is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Excellent English, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, structured, and detail-oriented approach.
- Experience working with large datasets and process automation tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled finance tools and advanced analytics is an advantage.
