Accountabilities:
- Provide end-to-end technical leadership across software engineering teams building Python-based automation systems and full-stack applications.
- Define and oversee system architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, cloud-ready, and maintainable across AWS or Azure environments.
- Translate complex client and stakeholder requirements into clear technical designs, architecture decisions, and implementation roadmaps.
- Lead solution design sessions and guide engineering teams through architecture definition and technical trade-off discussions.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, presenting solutions and driving alignment on technical direction and priorities.
- Oversee delivery execution across multiple engineering workstreams, ensuring timelines, quality, and scope alignment.
- Identify technical risks early and lead resolution efforts to maintain delivery continuity and performance standards.
- Ensure engineering best practices across backend, frontend, and data-focused teams, including Python, React, and Spring Boot environments.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical delivery, or solution architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on background in Python development and/or full-stack engineering using React, Spring Boot, or similar technologies.
- Proven experience designing and leading scalable cloud-based architectures on AWS or Azure.
- Experience managing or coordinating cross-functional engineering teams across backend, frontend, and data domains.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions and influence decision-making.
- Experience leading system design, architecture definition, and end-to-end technical delivery.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployment workflows is preferred.
- Experience working in federal or regulated environments is an advantage.
- Background in data pipelines, ETL workflows, or technical product ownership is a plus.
- U.S. citizenship required with eligibility to obtain or maintain government clearance (DHS, CBP/ICE, or DoD Top Secret preferred).
- Annual salary range of 150,000 to 160,000 USD
