About Role:
Gartner Consulting is looking for a Consultant, who will work with some of the world’s largest enterprises to shape digital roadmaps, define and implement technology-enabled transformation priorities, and help clients leapfrog ahead using emerging technologies, AI-enabled ways of working, and Gartner’s market-leading research and benchmarks.
What you’ll do:
• Work on consulting engagements for some of the world’s largest enterprises on their mission-critical priorities, including development and execution assurance of digital, technology and AI-enabled transformation strategies that help clients improve business outcomes and accelerate value realization.
• Develop and demonstrate deep expertise in areas such as Digital Strategy, AI-enabled Transformation, Operating Model, Digital Benchmarking, Enterprise Technology Strategy, and Digital Maturity Assessment.
• Understand client industry issues, exhibit structured problem-solving ability, and develop insights and recommendations based on in-depth research, Gartner benchmarks, client interviews and relevant market trends.
• Use AI-enabled tools and techniques to accelerate research, synthesis, benchmarking, data analysis, ideation, business case development and executive-ready deliverables, while applying appropriate quality control, confidentiality and human judgment.
• Prepare high-quality outputs in the form of executive presentations, transformation roadmaps, business cases and written recommendations, communicating results using hypothesis testing, storyboarding and data visualization techniques.
• Use independent judgment in preparing output, shaping workstream analysis and developing recommendations, while seeking guidance from experienced consultants and engagement leaders as required.
• Demonstrate an inquisitive mindset, ability to think through the problem statement and the proposed solution, and ability to ask the right questions to the client and the engagement manager.
• Participate in and, where appropriate, facilitate client workshops and interviews with key stakeholders; document client requirements, decision areas, pain points and transformation opportunities.
• Invest in self-development by staying current on technology and business trends across industries, including AI, GenAI, automation, cloud, data platforms, digital products and emerging operating models.
• Contribute to the development of client relationships through excellent quality of output, strong professional judgment, and demonstration of Gartner values.
• Work with globally distributed teams of consultants on different client engagements and intellectual property development across multiple industry and technology domains.
• Support and mentor junior consultants and analysts by providing guidance on research, analysis, storylining, deliverable quality and AI-enabled productivity methods.
What you’ll need:
• 3-5 years of total experience in strategy consulting, digital transformation, technology advisory, enterprise architecture, product strategy, AI strategy, IT strategy or related roles, preferably with exposure to large enterprise clients.
• 2+ years of experience in strategy or advisory roles, including delivery of digital strategy, technology strategy, operating model, digital transformation or AI-enabled transformation engagements.
• Experience delivering strategy engagements and recommending valuable insights to clients using approaches such as art of the possible, digital maturity assessment, customer journey mapping, business capability assessment, benchmarking, prioritization and roadmap development.
• Demonstrated understanding of one of the following topics - AI, GenAI, automation, cloud, data platforms, digital products and enterprise technology platforms, with the ability to translate these technologies into business opportunities, operating model implications and practical transformation actions.
• Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools to improve research, synthesis, analysis, ideation, deliverable creation and speed-to-insight, with strong attention to accuracy, source validation, client confidentiality and responsible use.
• Passionate about technology; tracks latest trends and the potential use of technology to solve complex business problems, with a strong understanding of core technologies and how they can be used to build digital capabilities and platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a global environment where one has to collaborate with cross-border teams on a continuous basis and work as a team.
• A curious and inquisitive mind, with openness to new experiences and learning, strong problem-solving ability, client focus and ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments.
• Ability to create executive-ready deliverables with clear storyline, data-backed recommendations, structured logic and practical next steps.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in business, technology, engineering, computer science or a related field preferred.
