  • Interpret and apply GD&T standards in accordance with ASME Y14.5, ISO 1101, and related norms.
  • Analyze technical drawings and 3D models to validate dimensional and geometric specifications.
  • Define functional tolerances based on design and manufacturing requirements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to resolve dimensional issues.
  • Perform stack-up analyses (tolerance accumulation studies).
  • Support dimensional validations using CMM and other measuring equipment.
  • Participate in root cause analyses related to dimensional failures.
  • Train technical personnel in print reading and GD&T interpretation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years in drawing interpretation and application of GD&T in a manufacturing environment.
  • ASME Y14.5 standards
  • Dimensional metrology
  • CMM operation
  • CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, etc.)
  • Basic statistical analysis (SPC)
