Roles and Responsibilities
- Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements
- Document technical data that is generated to substantiate the assigned components, assemblies, systems and/or processes and that is consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Support the team on the development of Web/Cloud applications
- Provide timely communication on significant issues to key stakeholders
- Support the solution of problems of limited scope and complexity
- Self-check of work
Requirements:
- Student of Computer Systems, Software, Computer Science Engineering
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- English skills: must be able to maintain a simple conversation in English.
- Presentation skills: ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Proven analytical and organizational abilities
- Proven programming skills on web/cloud environments
- Experience with visual management tools is a plus
- Accountable and strong learning/continuous improvement mindset
- Open team player and strong interpersonal skills
- Hybrid mode at GEIQ office at Querétaro, México
Desired skills:
- Have previous experience with User Interface development, including basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
- Basic knowledge in modern JS frameworks (React, Vue, etc).
- Backend languages (C#/Java/ Node.Js)
- Experience with React-redux is a big plus
