Laravel builds tools used by hundreds of thousands of developers worldwide, and we're looking for a designer who cares deeply about what it means to design for technical users.
You'll join an established design team with a clear point of view on craft and quality, and take ownership of product design on Laravel Cloud. This isn't a role where design sits at the end of the process — you'll be in from problem definition through to shipped features, working closely with engineers who hold the bar as high as you do.
Design at Laravel
- Design new features end-to-end — from early exploration and wireframes through to polished, production-ready UI
- Think through complex, technical workflows and find solutions that feel simple and inevitable for developer audiences
- Pair with engineers to ship quickly and with care; the line between design and code is deliberately blurry here
- Contribute to and help evolve our design system as our products grow
- Prototype and test ideas early to validate thinking before committing to full implementation
- Champion the developer user — stay curious about how people actually build with our tools
What You'll Achieve
In your first 30 days, you'll get to grips with how we design at Laravel — pairing with a teammate to understand our process and ship your first feature. By 60 days, you'll be designing independently. By 90 days, you'll have shipped multiple features and be actively helping shape our design system.
In 12 months? You'll have your fingerprints on some of the best developer tooling in the world.

- Enjoys giving and receiving direct, constructive feedback
- HTML/CSS/React experience is a plus but it's not required
