Accountabilities:

    The SOC Security Analyst will support daily security operations by monitoring threats, investigating alerts, improving detection processes, and ensuring effective incident management. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate security findings clearly across technical and business teams.

    • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and detections through SIEM platforms, ensuring incidents are properly analyzed and resolved.
    • Develop, maintain, and optimize SIEM use cases, correlation rules, dashboards, and reporting capabilities to improve threat detection coverage.
    • Identify, assess, and escalate high-priority security events from multiple data sources according to established procedures.
    • Analyze security reports, including phishing attempts and suspicious activity, while coordinating appropriate response actions.
    • Manage security tickets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation, timely updates, and proper closure.
    • Support proactive threat hunting activities and security investigations as directed.
    • Provide operational SOC support by communicating findings, risks, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
    • Create and maintain security documentation, including procedures, standards, and operational runbooks.
    • Collaborate with system and application owners to support vulnerability remediation efforts.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, and security monitoring, with strong technical knowledge and the ability to operate independently in a structured environment.

      • 2+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or a related cybersecurity discipline, with SOC analyst experience preferred.
      • Practical SIEM experience investigating alerts, creating and tuning detection rules, developing use cases, and generating security reports using platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic, QRadar, or similar tools.
      • Experience analyzing phishing incidents and supporting email security response processes.
      • Ability to independently triage, investigate, and escalate security incidents using established playbooks.
      • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S, as well as Windows and Linux operating systems.
      • Experience with case management systems and maintaining clear, audit-ready security documentation.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a dynamic security team.
      • Ability to successfully complete required background investigations and meet eligibility requirements.
      • Must be a US Citizen.
      • Security certifications such as CySA+, GCIH, GCIA, Security+, or BTL1 are strongly preferred.
      • Experience with EDR platforms, IDS/IPS solutions, vulnerability scanners, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), SOAR platforms, or threat intelligence methodologies is a plus.
      • Benefits:
