About the Role
Our science is already world class. This opportunity is to make it accessible, modern, and commercially unstoppable, so clients adopt faster, get value sooner, and buy more over time.

If you want a role where you can genuinely shape direction, protect focus, and deliver outcomes that matter, this is it.

You are the person who refuses to build features with no commercial value. You turn strategy into a roadmap that delivers outcomes, not activity. You create focus, you force clarity, and you make sure what ships is adopted, sold, and renewed.

This is a rare opportunity: senior ownership, real autonomy, and the mandate to curate and drive our roadmap end to end, with a team that has deliberately built a modern, AI first product and delivery culture.

Why Saville
We have world class psychometric science, a strong practitioner community, and a clear strategic direction. What we are building now is the product layer that makes that science genuinely accessible at scale: cleaner journeys, faster time to value, and experiences that talent teams actually want to use every day.

The team works within a deliberate, AI-first operating model. That means structured AI integration at every stage of delivery, Lovable prototyping as a standard part of the design process, and a governance model built for a team that moves fast but ships responsibly.

You will have real ownership, a small and talented team to grow, and the space to build a product discipline that sets the standard for how we work.

Requirements

You are...
  • Commercially wired. You start with outcomes and value, then work backwards to product decisions.
  • Allergic to waste. If it does not move the business forward, you stop it.
  • Decisive under constraint.  You can hold a line when the pressure arrives.
  • A strong facilitator.  You run workshops that end with decisions, owners, and next steps, not more workshops. You align people who don't report to you. You make the commercial case for product decisions and bring Sales, CS, and Engineering to a shared view without needing hierarchy to do it.
  • Data fluent. You know how to instrument products, measure adoption, diagnose drop off, and prove impact without hiding behind vanity metrics.
  • AI native. AI is your default workflow, not a bolt-on. You use it across discovery, analysis, prototyping, writing, and decision making. You automate the repetitive and focus your time on judgement, narrative, prioritisation, and shipping value.
  • Comfortable with Lovable. You prototype quickly, share prototypes early, and know the difference between a validation artefact and a build artefact.
  • A builder of teams. You can nurture a small product function and make it meaningfully better, fast.
  • Comfortable in technical conversations. You do not need to code, but you understand trade-offs, sequencing, and delivery reality, including what vertical slice architecture and staged delivery actually mean in practice.

Your experience:
•  You have owned roadmaps in B2B SaaS and shipped product that delivered measurable outcomes.
•  You have strong judgement around prioritisation, value, and customer demand.
•  You have partnered tightly with engineering and can translate ambiguity into buildable plans, working comfortably within staged, gate-driven delivery processes.
•  You have a track record of using AI to materially increase throughput and decision quality: faster discovery, clearer briefs, better experiments, quicker iteration.
•  You are fluent with modern AI tooling and workflows, including tools like Claude, Copilot, and Lovable, and you can teach others how to work the same way.
•  You have a track record of aligning Sales, CS, and Engineering around product decisions without formal authority.
•  You understand AI governance basics: you know that AI output requires human review, that attribution matters, and that AI-generated artefacts are drafts until a named human has signed off.
•  Bonus if you have worked in HR tech, assessment, regulated environments, or any product where trust, defensibility, and scientific credibility matter.

Responsibilities

Strive for Simplicity
You take complex, high stakes assessment science and turn it into clean, modern, intuitive journeys that feel effortless for busy talent teams. You cut friction wherever it hides, obsess over time to first value, and hold a high bar for fast, elegant user experiences that drive real adoption.

Commercial Product Discipline
You build the business case. You shape packaging, positioning, and value narrative with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. You ensure every meaningful release is sellable, supportable, and adoptable, and that the customer communication layer runs alongside delivery, not as an afterthought.

AI Powered Discovery and Prototyping
You use AI as a genuine productivity and quality multiplier at every stage of the product process. That means:
  • Using AI to accelerate opportunity briefs, PRDs, research synthesis, and acceptance criteria, then reviewing and owning every output
  • Prototyping in Lovable to validate flows, layouts, and user journeys before a single line of production code is written
  • Sharing Lovable prototypes in design reviews to drive decisions early and reduce late discovery
  • Using AI assisted analysis to instrument, measure adoption, diagnose drop off, and prove impact
  • Building and maintaining a personal prompt library and sharing your most effective workflows with the wider team
You understand the guardrails too. Lovable output is a prototype, not a ship artefact. AI drafts, humans decide. You bring genuine judgment to every gate in the process.

Hands on Product Leadership
You are close to the work. You write crisp opportunity briefs. You run structured discovery. You partner daily with engineering using a staged, gate driven delivery process, from opportunity intake through t-shirt sizing, PRD, slice plan, and into build. You mentor a small team of Product Owners and raise the bar through coaching, not process theatre.
