Analyst, Production Support – JLL

What this job involves:

As an Analyst in Production Support at JLL, you'll be an essential part of our finance operations team, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our financial systems and reporting processes. This role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving data and process issues to maintain optimal system performance and minimize business disruption. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support JLL's financial technology infrastructure while developing your analytical expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging finance professional eager to build a strong foundation in production support and contribute to JLL's commitment to operational excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Monitor financial production systems and reporting applications to identify and resolve issues proactively, ensuring minimal downtime

  • Respond to support tickets and incidents in a timely manner, troubleshooting data and process problems and escalating complex issues when necessary

  • Document incident resolutions, root cause analyses, and standard operating procedures to build a comprehensive knowledge base

  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams to implement fixes and deploy system updates

  • Perform routine data validations, reconciliations, and maintenance tasks to ensure data accuracy and system stability

  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical financial reporting and month-end close processes

  • Assist in testing and validating system changes before deployment to production environments

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, financial systems support, or a related analytical role

  • Basic understanding of financial reporting systems, ticketing systems, and incident management processes

  • Fundamental knowledge of financial databases (SQL queries), ERP systems, and financial data troubleshooting

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze financial data issues logically and methodically

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of financial processes including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation

  • Knowledge of data integrity principles and financial controls

  • Experience working in a shared services or financial operations environment

  • Basic scripting or automation skills to improve process efficiency
