In 2025, Eurofins generated total revenues of EUR 7.2 billion and has been among the best performing stocks in Europe over the past 20 years.Eurofins Forensic Services (EFS) laboratories are amongst the most advanced analytical facilities in Europe, enabling the company to offer a complete and comprehensive range of independent and innovative forensic testing solutions to police forces, legal and criminal justice organisations throughout the UK and Europe.Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for Forensic Examiner to join our fantastic Toxicology team at our site based in Heathrow If you are passionate about a rewarding career in Forensic testing and want to use your expertise to its full potential, then this is a great opportunity to join a well-established and successful market leading company with over 30 years’ experience in providing Forensic Services to the Police forces of England and Wales, as well as other commercial organisations and public sector bodies.This is a truly exciting time to begin or continue your career with our first-class business, as a Forensic Examiner, you will be responsible for carrying out routine laboratory analyses, undertaking general housekeeping duties, and provide administrative support for the Toxicology team.Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per weekKey Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesYou will be required to help maintain the laboratory by keeping the area clean and tidy following stringent anti-contamination procedures, prepare and validate quality control material, maintain laboratory records, provide routine calibration and maintenance of equipment, and maintain consumable stocks.You will also assist with casework analysis by following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Health and Safety requirements and ensuring they are fit for purpose. You will be responsible for maintaining sample integrity and chain of custody, the preparation of casework samples for analysis, undertaking analyses using instrumentation such as HSGC-FID, GC-MS, GC-QQQ, HPLC, LC-MS/MS, and HRAM, ensuring analytical data conforms to quality standards, and input data onto an internal case management system. Finally, you must take an active role in the continuous improvement throughout the team.QualificationsFor this role you must have a Chemistry degree or equivalent, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and have good planning and organisational skill.
