We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern for a 6-month internship to support the Portfolio Management team of a Luxembourg-based Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM). The successful candidate will assist with the automation of monthly and quarterly portfolio reporting processes and perform internal controls of portfolio-related documentation and reporting outputs.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in asset management, portfolio monitoring, reporting, and operational controls within a regulated investment management environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation, automation, and enhancement of monthly and quarterly portfolio reports.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Excel-based reporting and monitoring tools.
- Perform quality checks and internal controls on portfolio management documentation, reports, and supporting records.
- Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data quality.
- Support ad hoc portfolio management and reporting projects as required.
- Ensure tasks are completed accurately and within established deadlines.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to take ownership of tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Interest in asset management, investment funds, or financial services is an advantage.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, reporting tools, data automation, or process improvement initiatives is a plus.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Eligibility to undertake an internship in Luxembourg.
