The Senior Compliance Officer on the GRC team in Barcelona leads regional compliance activities, including policy implementation, risk assessments, and monitoring to enhance frameworks across the Glovo and Pandora entities. This role involves advising on sanctions and compliance, partnering with senior stakeholders, and leading internal investigations into misconduct while maintaining high ethical standards. The Senior Compliance Officer is a proactive professional with strong influence and judgment who operates using a risk-based approach. Lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the regional compliance framework, including Policies & Procedures, Compliance Management System (CMS), Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Sanctions, and other key compliance policies, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulatory requirements.Oversee and strengthen the regional financial crime and compliance control environment by conducting compliance risk assessments, evaluating the effectiveness of controls, identifying improvement opportunities, and partnering with business stakeholders to implement risk-based enhancements.Drive compliance monitoring, testing, and assurance activities across the region, identifying compliance gaps, recommending remediation actions, supporting corrective action implementation, and reporting findings, risks, and progress to senior management and key stakeholders.Serve as the regional subject matter expert for key regulatory compliance topics, including Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Sanctions the EU Platform Work Directive, and related requirements, proactively advising stakeholders on regulatory developments, industry trends, enforcement actions, and business impacts.Provide trusted, risk-based compliance advisory support and stakeholder engagement, acting as the primary regional contact for complex compliance inquiries, delivering training and awareness programs, fostering a strong culture of integrity and accountability, and influencing senior leaders to strengthen compliance outcomes.Lead complex compliance investigations and strategic compliance initiatives, including whistleblower cases, internal investigations, compliance reviews, and the resolution of sensitive matters, while contributing to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the regional compliance programme.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related discipline, with 7+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or related functions, preferably within international and fast-paced environments.Strong expertise in compliance frameworks, including Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Sanctions, CSRD, and other regulatory and governance requirements.Demonstrated experience leading compliance programs and managing complex compliance matters independently, from risk assessment and policy implementation to remediation and issue resolution.Strong analytical, investigative, and risk management capabilities, with experience conducting or overseeing investigations, assessing compliance risks, and driving effective remediation actions.Proven ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leadership teams, providing practical,...
