Accountabilities:
- Drive revenue growth across assigned territory by developing, managing, and expanding referral networks within hospitals, physician groups, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities.
- Build and maintain strong consultative relationships with clinical teams and internal care providers to ensure alignment on patient care and referral processes.
- Execute territory business plans for each clinic, identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and penetrate underdeveloped referral sources.
- Conduct regular field activity including sales calls, in-services, drop-ins, and clinical engagement meetings to generate and sustain referral flow.
- Monitor referral performance metrics using CRM tools such as Salesforce, identifying trends, drops in volume, and opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate coordination between clinicians and referral sources through educational programs, community events, and clinical outreach initiatives.
- Manage contract opportunities, RFP responses, and strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions and payer organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support onboarding, training, and execution of regional sales and growth initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare sales or business development, or prior experience as a BDA in a similar environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a field-based or healthcare-focused role.
- Strong understanding of hospital systems, physician networks, and healthcare referral pathways.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence clinical and administrative stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and territory performance reports to drive strategic decisions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based territory role.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record as required for regional travel.
